The System group in Settings holds Clips & Storage, Brand Kit, Fleet Enrollment, LAN Access, Encoding & Upload and Advanced. This article also covers Notifications (web app only, in the You group) and the About group: About and Third-party licenses.

Where to find it

Go to Settings (bottom of the sidebar, under Admin) and click the section. In the web app, /app/brand-kit opens Brand Kit directly. Several of these sections are about one booth computer, so they do real work in Tech Manager and only explain where to go in the web app.

Set up your church's Brand Kit

  1. Go to Settings and click Brand Kit.
  2. Fill in Church name, Pastor name, Tagline and Website.
  3. Add a Logo (for light backgrounds) and, if you have one, a Logo (dark backgrounds). In the web app, click Upload a file (PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG, up to 20 MB); an uploaded logo saves at once. In Tech Manager, paste the logo's web address instead.
  4. Set Primary color, Secondary color, Background color and Text color with the color picker or by typing a color code.
  5. Pick a Font family.
  6. Under Service times, click + Add service time and choose a day, a time and an optional label. Click × to remove one.
  7. Click Save Brand Kit. You see "Brand Kit saved to cloud".

The strip at the top previews your name and colors. Your logo and font appear on your public watch and library pages, and Reels use your brand. Saving a new Church name here renames your church everywhere, the same as Settings > Organization.

Choose where a booth saves clips and recordings

  1. Go to Settings and click Clips & Storage.
  2. In Tech Manager, type a folder or click Browse..., then click Save settings. The default folder is shown under the box when you have changed it.
  3. In the web app, pick the booth in Booth machine, type the Clips folder and Output folder as paths on that computer, and click Save.

In Tech Manager, the Danger Zone has Clear all clips from database. It removes clip records from this computer's list; the video files stay on disk. Confirm with Delete all.

Add a booth computer to your church's fleet

Enrolling binds a computer to your church so it reports its health, devices and stream status, whoever is signed in.

  1. In Tech Manager on that computer, go to Settings and click Fleet Enrollment.
  2. If you see a button starting Add this computer to followed by your church's name, click it.
  3. Otherwise, paste an enrollment code (FL-XXXX-XXXX) and click Enroll. Make codes in the web app under Settings > Account. (If the code box is hidden, click Enroll with a code instead.)
  4. The section now reads "Enrolled in" your church, with the computer's Device ID.

The Fleet Enrollment box under Settings > Account in Tech Manager does the same job with Add this machine. To take a computer out, click Unenroll this machine and confirm with Unenroll. In the web app, this section only has Open enrollment codes (Account tab).

Get the LAN password for phones and tablets (Tech Manager)

  1. In Tech Manager, go to Settings and click LAN Access.
  2. Read the Username and click Show to see the Password, or Copy to copy it.

Phones and tablets on the church network sign in with these to reach this booth's mobile pages. The password is unique to this computer and never leaves it. Generate new password makes a new one; devices already signed in must sign in again.

Measure what stream quality a booth can handle

  1. In Tech Manager, go to Settings and click Encoding & Upload.
  2. Click Measure this PC (or Measure again). It takes about 15 seconds and works the processor and graphics card hard, so run it between services.

The result is a rating (1080p60, 1080p30, 720p30, or not ready) with the reasons and when it was measured. In the web app, open Pulse > System Health, pick the booth computer, and use Measure this PC there.

Get booth alerts on your phone (web app)

  1. In the web app on your phone or computer, go to Settings and click Notifications.
  2. Click Turn on notifications on this device and allow notifications when your browser asks.
  3. Under Send me a notification for, choose A booth or hub goes offline, A machine reports critical CPU, disk or temperature and A livestream drops.

Alerts always go out by email too. On iPhone or iPad, first open the Share menu, choose "Add to Home Screen", and turn this on from the installed app.

Adjust a booth's Advanced options (Tech Manager)

In Tech Manager, Settings > Advanced has switches for this computer only:

  • Automatic Sync — keep cloud status and preferences synced in the background.
  • Keep Tech Manager running — if Tech Manager crashes, it starts again within about a minute. Quitting from the tray keeps it closed. If the switch is greyed out, the row says why.
  • Network adapter for scanning — on a computer with more than one network connection, choose which one is scanned; Auto (recommended) prefers a private network.
  • Desktop chat notifications and Desktop alert notifications — Windows pop-ups for Team Chat messages and for the alerts you chose on Pulse > Alerts. Send test notification tries one.

The web app lists the same rows marked Booth PC only.

Check which version you are running

  1. Go to Settings and click About.
  2. Read Version and Build. Tech Manager shows its version number; the web app is always the latest.

Click Third-party licenses for the open-source software WorshipMetrics uses, including how to get FFmpeg's source code, and a searchable list of Open-source packages.

Troubleshooting

My logo says "Couldn't load this image for a preview"

The address could not be shown. Upload the file again in the web app, or check the link opens in a browser.

Notifications says "This browser can't receive push notifications"

Use a browser that supports them, or on iPhone add WorshipMetrics to your Home Screen first.

Enrolling says the machine is still in another organization's fleet

Unenroll it there first (Settings > Fleet Enrollment on that computer), or use an enrollment code from the church you are moving it to.

Good to know

Brand Kit is your church's, so it is the same everywhere. In Notifications, the on/off button applies to the device you are using, while the three alert choices apply to your account on every device you turned on. Clips & Storage, LAN Access, Encoding & Upload and Advanced belong to one booth computer.
