The Integrations group in Settings connects WorshipMetrics to outside services: Planning Center (your services, people and scheduling), YouTube (your church's channel) and UniFi Network (your Ubiquiti network controller, for booth network scans).

Where to find it

Go to Settings (bottom of the sidebar, under Admin) and click Planning Center, YouTube or UniFi Network. Planning Center and YouTube are the same in the web app and in Tech Manager, because the connection lives in the cloud. UniFi Network differs; see its section below.

Connect Planning Center

  1. Go to Settings and click Planning Center.
  2. In Planning Center, create a Personal Access Token at api.planningcenteronline.com (the Personal Access Tokens section). The page links there.
  3. Paste its App ID and Secret into the boxes.
  4. Click Connect & import. You see "Connected as" your Planning Center account, and the import starts.

The import is read-only: nothing in Planning Center is ever changed. Once connected, the section shows when it last synced (it re-checks every few minutes), what has been imported, Sync now, Full re-import and Disconnect, and a What to import list of your Planning Center service types. The full walk-through, including what imports, how syncing works, and the difference between disconnecting and removing imported data, is in the guide-planning-center article.

Connect your YouTube channel

  1. Go to Settings and click YouTube.
  2. Click Connect YouTube (it reads Reconnect YouTube when already connected).
  3. Sign in with Google and allow access.
    • In the web app, you come back to Settings with a "YouTube connected" message.
    • In Tech Manager, the Google sign-in opens in your web browser, because Google does not allow it inside an app window. When you finish, come back and click Refresh status.
  4. Status reads Connected, with your Channel name and Channel ID.

The page describes this as one shared connection used by Online Attendance imports, Reels publishing and stream workflows.

Name a YouTube channel without connecting

If you do not connect, WorshipMetrics can still read public numbers from a channel you name.

  1. Go to Settings and click YouTube.
  2. Under Manual channel fallback, paste your channel ID (it starts with UC) or your handle (such as @yourchurch) into YouTube channel ID or handle.
  3. Click Verify. You see "Channel verified" with the channel's name and subscriber count. A handle is turned into the channel ID for you.
  4. Click Save.

Status then reads Manual fallback channel. To find your channel ID, go to youtube.com/account_advanced, or in YouTube Studio open Settings > Channel > Advanced settings.

Disconnect YouTube

  1. Go to Settings and click YouTube.
  2. Click Disconnect, then confirm. Features that use the shared channel stop until you connect again.

Connect a UniFi controller (Tech Manager)

A UniFi controller (a UDM, Cloud Key or self-hosted controller) lets the booth's network scans show real device names, models and power-over-Ethernet (PoE) details.

  1. In Tech Manager on the booth, go to Settings and click UniFi Network.
  2. Enter Controller host / IP and Port (443 for a UDM or UniFi OS, 8443 for a self-hosted controller).
  3. Paste an API key (recommended; create it in UniFi under Settings > Control Plane > Integrations), or enter the Username and Password of a local controller admin. A username and password also unlock exact switch ports and PoE watts.
  4. Leave Site as "default" unless you renamed your site.
  5. Click Test connection, then Save & enable.

These credentials stay on that computer. Scan diagnostics shows what the next scan will use, and Disconnect stops using the controller.

Connect a UniFi controller for a booth (web app)

  1. Go to Settings in the web app and click UniFi Network.
  2. Pick the booth in Booth machine.
  3. Fill in the same boxes: Controller host / IP, Port, API key and/or Username and Password, and Site.
  4. Turn on Use the controller during network scans.
  5. Click Save. The booth applies the settings and checks them; you see "Saved — booth verified the controller" when it worked. Test connection also runs on the booth, so it needs the booth online.

Troubleshooting

Planning Center says "Stored connection can't be used"

The saved Planning Center token can no longer be read. Click Disconnect, then connect again with a new token. Your imported plans stay.

YouTube never shows as connected in Tech Manager

Finish the Google sign-in in your web browser, then come back to Settings > YouTube and click Refresh status.

UniFi saved, but says it did not verify

The message names the problem. The login must be a local admin on the controller, not a ubiquiti.com sign-in. Fix it and save again.

Good to know

Live stream destinations (where your stream is sent, such as YouTube or Facebook) are set up separately on Publish > Live Streaming > Destinations. Plan > Service Metrics also points there when it has no channel for counting online viewers.
