Plan > Service Metrics shows how your services went: in-person attendance, online viewers from a linked live stream, trends against recent weeks, who you didn't see, live stream comments and sound levels. It is also where you count the room, by tapping seats or with a camera. It reads your plans but doesn't change them.

Where to find it

Open Plan > Service Metrics (/app/plan/service-metrics on the web app; the same page in Tech Manager). It used to sit under Pulse; the old Attendance pages now lead here.

With no plan picked, the page shows Attendance Over Time (switch Month, Quarter, Year), Service Types, and This Week's plans. Go to plans opens Plan > Services.

Pick a plan

  1. Go to Plan > Service Metrics.
  2. In the Plans list on the left, plans are grouped by Service. Use Upcoming or All, and type in Search plans... (Ctrl+K jumps to the search box).
  3. Click a plan. Its cards open on the right. The back arrow ("Back to plans") returns to the overview.

Open plan and Edit in plan open the plan's own page; Open editor opens the Plan Editor.

Count the room by tapping seats

  1. Go to Plan > Service Metrics and click the plan.
  2. Click Enter In-Person Attendance, then Seat count.
  3. If the plan has two or more service Times, pick the one you are counting next to Counting.
  4. The first time, click Choose a template and pick your room's layout (or create one, below).
  5. Pick a section (or All sections, then click a section card). Tap a seat to mark it taken; tap again to clear it.
  6. To record who sat there, hold a seat: in Assign seat, pick a person, use Seat family to seat a whole household in the next open seats, or New visitor. Clear seat empties it.
  7. Click Save count (it shows the number). Clear all empties every seat; Template changes the layout.

Create or edit a seating template

  1. In Seat count, click Template (or Choose a template).
  2. In Seating templates, click + Create new template, or Edit on an existing one.
  3. Set the Template name, rename sections, set seats per row with minus and plus, and use + Add row and + Add section.
  4. Under Room context (it helps the camera count), set the Left speaker and Right speaker and add a choir with + Add choir section.
  5. Click Save template. A new template is attached to this plan. Make default sets the template new services start from; Delete… then Really delete removes one (Keep it backs out).

Count the room with a camera

  1. Go to Plan > Service Metrics, click the plan, open Enter In-Person Attendance and click Auto count (camera).
  2. In Tech Manager: under Choose your camera, pick the Video source (a network camera or webcam), optionally set Camera position, turn scheduled days on or off under Schedule, and click Save settings.
  3. Click Run count now. A single frame is counted in the cloud and saved to this plan in about 30 seconds. The number appears under Last result.

On the web app, camera setup lives on Tech Manager. If your booth computer is online, Run count now runs the count there. With no booth online, choose This device to count with this computer's or tablet's camera. Capture history lists earlier camera and tablet counts.

Read the attendance recap

The Attendance Recap card shows In-Person, Virtual (peak online viewers) and Total Reach (the two side by side; online is never added into in-person). With two counted Times, the in-person number shows each Time's part. Known attendees lists the people seated by name.

Add online viewers from a live stream

  1. On the plan's Attendance Recap card, click Connect a live stream.
  2. Pick one of your Scheduled live streams, or a video From your connected channels (YouTube or Facebook).
  3. Online numbers, views and watch time appear on the card. Unlink disconnects it; Watch on YouTube opens the video.

Compare with recent weeks and follow up

  • Compared to Recent Weeks shows this plan against up to seven earlier plans of the same Service. Click a past week's bar to open it.
  • Follow-Up appears after a completed service where people were seated by name. It lists people not seen, with Call and Email buttons.

Review live stream comments

When a live stream is linked, the Comments card lists its chat. Filter with All, Prayer (comments that mention prayer) or Flagged, and click Refresh to pull new ones. On each comment, Flag, Resolve or Reset it.

Check sound levels

The Sound Levels card shows levels captured during the plan's time slot: Service level (Leq), Peak, Captured minutes, and Alarm windows if any, with a chart and, when the plan was run on its Live tab, levels per item. Capture comes from Smaart on Tech Manager: click Connect Smaart (or the gear, "Smaart capture settings"), fill in Address, Port, API version and Password, click Test connection, then Save.

Troubleshooting

"No attendance recorded for this service."

Nothing was counted yet. Use Enter In-Person Attendance, or connect a live stream for online numbers.

"This plan has no seating template yet."

Click Choose a template and pick or create your room's layout.

"No booth online — settings and runs need the Tech Manager."

Camera counting runs on your booth computer. Start Tech Manager there, or switch to This device if it is offered.

"No channel connected."

Connect YouTube or Facebook on Publish > Live Streaming > Destinations, then try Connect a live stream again.

Watch time is missing for an imported video

The platform may still be processing it. Connect the video again later.

I need to change a plan's date or speaker

This page doesn't edit plans. Click Open plan and use the Details tab.

Good to know

  • Smaart setup and the camera picker are only in Tech Manager; everything else is the same on the web app.
  • Rehearsal Times are never counted.
