WorshipMetrics runs your church's Sunday from one place: planning the service, scheduling the people, putting words on the screens, running the booth, streaming and publishing, and keeping the gear healthy. This article explains how the menu is organised, which app to use, and how to get help. For every page and its address, see the App map; for what a word means, see the Glossary.

Two apps, one account

WorshipMetrics comes as two apps that share the same menu, pages and data:

  • The web app, in any browser at app.worshipmetrics.com. Use it from the office, at home or on a phone.
  • Tech Manager, the desktop app you install on the booth computer. It does everything the web app does, plus the work that needs to be in the room: controlling the switcher and cameras, reading audio, and driving Present's screens.

A change you make in one shows up in the other. Pages that control booth gear work on the web only while Tech Manager is running on a booth computer. See the Tech Manager article to install it.

The menu, module by module

The sidebar groups pages into modules. Click a module to open its rows.

  • Plan: the service itself. Plan > Services lists every plan (one dated service) by Service and folder; Plan > Service Metrics records attendance; Plan > Teams sets up serving teams and positions; Plan > Songs and Plan > Media hold your song library and files.
  • People: People is your church's people list; My Schedule is where you accept or decline when you are asked to serve; Team Chat is messaging for your teams; Prayer Requests collects requests sent from the watch page.
  • Present: builds and runs what shows on the screens during a service: songs, slides, media and stage displays.
  • Produce: the booth during a service. Dashboard shows the switcher, cameras, audio, streams and recording at a glance; Switcher controls vMix or OBS (an ATEM is run from the Dashboard); Camera Control moves PTZ cameras.
  • Publish: everything that leaves the building. Library (with Series, Podcast and Analytics) holds published messages; Live Streaming (with Live Streams, Encoders, Destinations and Stream Health) runs your live stream; Watch Page, Reels (short clips) and Signage (lobby screens) round it out.
  • Patch: your AV gear. Devices lists it, Signal Map draws how it is cabled, Patches keeps the cable schedule.
  • Pulse: keeping it all healthy. System Health shows each booth computer, Alerts collects problems, Support is where you get help.
  • Admin, at the bottom of the sidebar, holds Settings: your account, your church's details, integrations such as Planning Center and YouTube, and booth options.

Tech Manager also shows Debug under Admin. The web app shows Platform, which only WorshipMetrics staff can open.

Where you land

On the web, the bare app address opens Welcome: pick a section from the sidebar. If your system diagram is not finished, Welcome shows a checklist titled "Complete your system diagram to get real support" and an Open the signal map button. Luminos and the phone line troubleshoot from that diagram, so finishing it early makes help much better.

Tech Manager opens on Produce > Dashboard.

A first week with WorshipMetrics

  1. Set up your church's details in Admin > Settings, and connect Planning Center there if you use it.
  2. Add your people in People > People and your teams in Plan > Teams.
  3. Create next Sunday's plan in Plan > Services and build its order.
  4. Install Tech Manager on the booth computer, sign in, and enroll it so it appears on Pulse > System Health.
  5. Add your gear in Patch > Devices and connect it on Patch > Signal Map.
  6. Open Present to put the songs and slides on the screens.

Everyone signed in to your church can use every page; there are no separate permission levels inside a church.

Get help

  • Click Support at the bottom of the sidebar, or open Pulse > Support. Click New conversation and describe the problem to Luminos, the WorshipMetrics AI assistant. It checks your live system first and only changes anything with your approval.
  • Need a person? Tick the box to create a ticket when you send, and someone at WorshipMetrics follows it up there.
  • During a service, call 910-WORSHIP — (910) 967-7447.
  • Ask Luminos "how do I…" questions too; it can answer with a Show me tour that points at each control on screen.

Good to know

  • Page names changed before launch; old addresses still work. Former names you may hear: Schedule (now Matrix), Displays (now Signage), Sources (now Encoders), Broadcasts (now Live Streams), Inventory (now Devices), Luminos (the page is now Support).
  • Each page's Help article has the step-by-step detail; the App map lists every page's address.
