Feature
Account
On this page
Settings > Account shows your church and its subscription (in the web app) or this computer's connection to WorshipMetrics (in Tech Manager). Your own name and photo are changed from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Where to find it
- Settings > Account — the first section in Settings, in the You group. It is in the web app and Tech Manager, but shows different things in each.
- The account menu — click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. In both apps it holds Profile, your church's name, and Sign out.
- The profile page — in the web app, /app/profile is a page with the same name and photo settings plus Pull from Clerk.
Change your name or photo
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click Profile. The Your Profile window opens.
- To set a photo, click Upload photo (or Change photo) and choose a JPG or PNG. To clear it, click Remove.
- Change Full name if you need to.
- Click Save.
Your photo is resized to 256 pixels. Your name and photo show in Team Chat, team lists and the sidebar, in both the web app and Tech Manager. The Email box in this window cannot be edited.
Copy your name, photo and email from your sign-in account (web app)
WorshipMetrics uses a sign-in service called Clerk. If you changed your name, photo or email there, bring the change into WorshipMetrics:
- In the web app, open /app/profile. The Your profile page opens.
- Click Pull from Clerk.
- When it finishes, the page shows Profile saved.
The same page can also upload a photo and edit Full name; click Save changes when you are done.
See your church's subscription and members (web app)
- Go to Settings (bottom of the sidebar, under Admin).
- Click Account.
- Scroll to the Organization panel. It lists your church's name, Your role, Subscription, and Members — how many people have a WorshipMetrics sign-in for your church, followed by their names.
Subscription shows your plan's name, and its status when the plan is not active. Settings has no button for changing, paying for or cancelling a plan. For a billing question, open Pulse > Support.
Create an enrollment code for a booth computer (web app)
An enrollment code lets you add a booth computer to your church's fleet without signing in on it.
- Go to Settings in the web app.
- Click Account. (The Set up a booth button at the top jumps to the same place.)
- Under Enroll a remote device, click Generate enrollment code. A code such as FL-XXXX-XXXX appears in the list and is copied for you.
- On the booth computer, open Tech Manager, go to Settings > Fleet Enrollment, paste the code and enroll.
Codes expire in 30 minutes; the list shows how many minutes each has left. Click Copy to copy one again, or Revoke to cancel a code you no longer need. When there are none you see "No active codes. Generate one to enroll a booth."
Check this computer's connection (Tech Manager)
- In Tech Manager, go to Settings.
- Click Account. You see your church's name and Last Heartbeat, the last time this computer checked in.
- Use the buttons as needed:
- Refresh status re-reads the connection.
- Restart to apply changes restarts Tech Manager after asking you.
- Disconnect stops cloud sync. Data on this computer stays.
- Deactivate device removes this computer from your church's list on the website. You must activate it again before it syncs.
If this computer is not connected you see Connect to WorshipMetrics with a Connect now button. Below the connection card, the Fleet Enrollment box adds this computer to your church's fleet with Add this machine, or with a code and Enroll with code. Once enrolled it shows Remove from fleet.
Sign out
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click Sign out. Tech Manager asks you to confirm first.
Troubleshooting
How do I change my password or my sign-in email?
Not in Settings or your profile; sign-in is handled by Clerk, and the Email boxes in WorshipMetrics are read-only. If you forgot your password, use the options on the sign-in screen. After changing your email in your sign-in account, use Pull from Clerk on /app/profile to bring it into WorshipMetrics.
The web app says "Connect a booth to WorshipMetrics". Is something wrong?
No. The web app is not a booth computer, so it never shows a connection card. That message is about installing Tech Manager on a booth computer. Click Set up a booth to jump to enrollment codes.
The same booth computer shows up twice on the website
In Tech Manager on that computer, go to Settings > Account, click Deactivate device, then connect it again.
My enrollment code does not work
Codes expire after 30 minutes and work once. Generate a new one under Enroll a remote device and use it straight away.
Good to know
In the web app, the account menu's Organization item shows your church's name with a check mark. In Tech Manager the menu shows your church's name as a plain line, because a booth belongs to one church. Notifications (web app only) is also in the You group; see settings-system.
